Fleet Management and Security
The new MT of the 8th series is a tracking and telematics device which intelligently safeguards and controls mobile assets by collecting,
processing, storing, transmitting data and carrying out executive commands.
Using MT8000 in combination with Control Centre software helps to improve the maintenance and efficiency of a corporate fleet dramatically.
Positioning and Communication
MT8000 is delivered ready to install on vehicles. It collects, analyzes and sends data including GPS information, as well as external inputs and outputs information. MT8000 utilizes GSM interface or RF interface to provide location and asset status in real-time or historically in SMS, CSD or GPRS modes to a control office that is based on Navi-ASTRA program supplied by Navigator Technology.
USB, RS232, RS485 or I2C interfaces enable “black box” application without wireless transmissions and connection of many additional accessories.
Intelligence of the software
MT8000 is programmable and can record and transmit data on a schedule, event-driven or alarm basis. The device’s software upgrade and configuration changes are made remotely over the air. The geo-fencing capability provides notification if an asset crosses a user defined boundary. MT8000 is robustly made and is supplied with a rechargeable back up battery and an extensive log memory.
