Navigator Technology’s official visit to the Ministry of Communications and
Telematics of Viet Nam in Hanoi.
On March 18-25 “Navigator
Technology” visited Viet Nam as a member of an official delegation of the
Russian Information Technology Agency (a subdivision of the Russian Ministry of
IT and Communications) to the Vietnamese Ministry of Communications and
Telematics. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce Russian IT and security
solutions to Vietnamese Governments and business. Beside the officials from the
Agency the delegation comprised the leaders of Russian IT industry: Alladin,
Ankad, NTC “Atlas”, Jet Infosystems, Lissy, RNT, OKB “SAPR”, “STEL Computer
Systems” and “CBOSS”.
The delegation held a meeting with Viet Nam officials from the Ministry of
Communications and Telematics, the Government Communications Encryption
Department, the Central Department of Technique & Technology under the aegis of
the Ministry of Militia SRV, the Department of Communications and Telematics
under the aegis of the Hanoi Executive Committee, the Ministry of Education and
State Computerization Program Office, the Headquarters of Communications
Troops, Air Defense and Air Forces in the Viet Nam Ministry of Defense.

Russian IT products were introduced at an exhibition-forum dedicated to the
question of introducing state-of-the-art technologies into all spheres of
social life and government activity, where the issue of personal and state
security plays a pivotal role.
“Navigator Technology” exhibited its
telematic and tracking solution Navi –A.S.T.R.A. The report made at the forum
introduced the problems and perspectives of deploying a national-scope
monitoring and control system for state-importance objects.
Navigator’s telemetry and monitoring solutions branded Navi-A.S.T.R.A aroused
intense interest of the Vietnamese Ministry of Transport, the Commission for
State Information Protection, the Center of Military Sciences and Technologies,
Vietnam Datacommunication company, Vietnam National Shipping Lines, Vietnam
Maritime Communication and Electronic company “Vishipel”, etc.
